When you call Nashville Computer, you will likely hear the cheerful voice of Courtney Gardner. Courtney has been with Nashville Computer for 10 years and is the person in charge of answering the phones and coordinating all of our engineers’ busy schedules.
And speaking of those engineers, that is one of Courtney’s favorite parts of the job, interacting with her co-workers. “We are like a funny dysfunctional family,” she says. “We may not always agree on how a situation should be handled, but we are always there to help and support each other in a time of need."
When asked of any insights she has gained through working and life she said, “Everyone is going through their own struggle that the outside world may know nothing about. The older I get the more compassion I have for people.”
In her spare time, Courtney loves caring for her four dogs, Ellie, a 12 year old Lab mix, Tobey, a 9 year old Boston Terrier (“the man of the house”), and Mollie, a 2 year old Pug (she’s a “Googly Monster”).Her latest addition to the pack is Cleo Petra, a miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix. “Petey” was found by a friend of her sister’s on the streets of Nashville around Thanksgiving time weighing a little over 5 lbs. Courtney says, “She has gone from a timid little creature afraid of everyone, to fitting in with the rest of our crazy family.”
Courtney is also the keeper of a multitude of Star Wars toys. But that is a story for another day.
